Dorian Restaurant

3.8 (733)$$$$ · Premium

Dorian sits at premium pricing in Notting Hill, and its review pattern is more polarised than most on this list: enthusiastic diners single out dishes like lobster with gazpacho, wild mushroom salad, and chicken liver parfait toast as genuinely excellent, while others feel the experience doesn't match the cost. At 3.8 stars, it's clearly still capable of standout meals, particularly at lunch according to some reviewers, even if consistency seems to vary. It suits diners drawn to its striking, fashionable interior and willing to take a chance on a kitchen with real highs. It leans toward an evening destination for couples rather than a safe, guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

What people say

"A perfect meal. So many brilliant dishes, standouts were the lobster with gazpacho, wild mushroom salad and chicken liver parfait toast. Interesting flavour combinations without being fiddly. Staff were really friendly and helpful (big shout out to Mo for guiding us through the menu), and the barman was happy to talk us through cocktails, wine and show us what we were drinking. Great design, tunes and atmosphere. Perfect place for a treaty dinner."
