📖

Full description

Jardim da Cerca da Graça is a hillside green space tucked below one of Lisbon's popular viewpoints, so it offers similar views of the castle, the bridge and the Cristo Rei statue with far fewer people. It has picnic areas, a playground and a kiosk cafe, making it a relaxed stop for couples, locals and families.

It is free, opens from 7:30 am to 9 pm, and rewards visitors who like lingering. Reaching it involves a fair amount of downhill walking after the nearest bus stop, so factor in the climb back.
