Stop at Saints Peter and Paul Church on Grodzka Street, Krakow's first major Baroque church. Study the row of apostle statues out front, then step inside to see the ornate interior.

📖

Full description

Saints Peter and Paul Church stands on Grodzka Street in Stare Miasto and is regarded as Krakow's first major Baroque church. Its facade is lined with statues of the twelve apostles, and the interior has the ornate character expected of the style.

Google also notes weekly Foucault pendulum demonstrations. Entry is free, and most visits last around 20 minutes.

It sits on the route between the Main Square and Wawel Hill, so it works well as a short stop on that walk, especially for couples interested in architecture and music, as concerts are held here.

Reviews

We purchased tickets for one of their concerts. The night we went had a selection for the organ as well. The music was impeccable. It was such a lovely, relaxing experience after a day of walking from museum to museum. It is really worth it to go to one of these concerts. The musicians were fantastic. This will go on…
