Visit the Czartoryski Museum in Krakow's Old Town, home to Leonardo da Vinci's Lady with an Ermine. Move through galleries of portraits, artworks and decorative arts in one of Poland's oldest museums.

📖

Full description

Founded in 1801, the Czartoryski Museum is one of Poland's most important collections and a branch of the National Museum. Its centrepiece is Leonardo da Vinci's Lady with an Ermine, which draws most of the visitors, while the wider galleries hold portraits, artworks and handicrafts that reviewers describe as beautifully presented.

Queues can be long on free-admission days, and the museum is busiest then. Plan around 90 minutes for a comfortable pass through the collection in the Old Town.
