Çukurcuma

Wander Çukurcuma, a quiet hillside pocket of Beyoğlu famous for antiques. Browse cluttered vintage shops along steep lanes, then slip into a small gallery or café for a slow break.

📖

Full description

Çukurcuma is a small, hilly neighbourhood just off Istiklal Avenue, known for its antique dealers, second-hand furniture shops, and cluttered vintage stores. Faded townhouses, sloping lanes, and a handful of independent cafés and galleries give it a bohemian, slightly worn charm.

It is a good area for slow browsing, photography, and unhurried wandering, particularly for visitors who enjoy rummaging through objects with a story. The pace is considerably quieter than the main shopping streets just a few minutes away.
