Full description

This museum is built around reconstructions of Leonardo da Vinci's machines and inventions, made from his original sketches, and visitors are encouraged to touch, test and experiment with them. Reproduced artworks and design studies add context, and there is a bookshop on site.

Reviewers consistently praise it as educational and fun, particularly for children, and say the interactive format makes Leonardo's engineering ideas easy to grasp. About an hour is enough, and the long opening hours, running to 19:30, make it easy to fit into almost any part of the day.

Great place for Adults and kids. Very informative and the displays are very tactile. Great to be able to try and interact with the models. Pre booking tickets on line is advised so you don't have to queue to get in.
