4.7 ·

Wander along Nyhavn, Copenhagen's most photographed canal. Stroll past rows of colourful townhouses and antique wooden ships, then settle at a waterfront café to watch the harbour life go by.

📖

Full description

Nyhavn is the canal-side quay in Indre By where rows of colourful historic buildings face old wooden boats moored along the water. One side is packed with cafés and restaurants, the other offers a quieter promenade, and the whole stretch is open at all hours.

Reviewers call it the city's most recognisable view and a natural spot for a slow walk, photos and a drink by the canal. It is especially popular with couples and works at nearly any time of day, from early morning calm to lively evenings.

A typical stop lasts about 45 minutes.
