Seek out Grundtvig's Church in northwest Copenhagen, a brick landmark that looks like a giant organ. Walk the nave to see the patterned brickwork and Gothic-style vaulting up close.
Full description
Grundtvig's Church combines an Expressionist exterior with a Gothic-style interior seating about 1,800 people. Its tall brick facade, which many visitors compare to a giant organ, suddenly appears as you turn the corner in the neighbourhood.
Inside, reviewers single out the brick design and the way the bricks are arranged, which gives the nave its distinctive texture. Entry is free, though the church can be closed on some days, and visitors are asked to treat it as a place of worship rather than a photo set.

Reviews
Absolutely beautiful structure. If you’re nearby definitely worth a trip. The only annoying thing was tourists treating this sacred place like an Instagram place. Dancing around and making videos which is not conducive for other quiet visitors who truly just want to sit and reflect the place.
