Nyugati Railway Station is one of Budapest's principal rail terminals, notable for its large iron-and-glass hall and decorative facade. Despite the name meaning Western Station, most services run to suburbs and to destinations south, east and north rather than west.

It sits on the Grand Boulevard close to the city centre, with shopping centres, cafes and restaurants around it and many hotels within walking distance. Reviewers describe it as easy to navigate and busy without being uncomfortable, with a very attractive exterior.

Reviews

Location wise very strategic, close to the old town city centre and walking distance from many hotels. Plus surrounded by various shopping centres, restaurants, and cafe. But I think this terminal deserve a renovation and bit of touch ofodernization also to make the passengers comfortable transiting.
