The Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert opened in 1847 and is one of the oldest covered shopping arcades in Europe, predating the well-known galleries of Milan and Paris. Its arched glass roof and elegant, symmetrical facades shelter high-end shops, chocolatiers, eateries and theatres along a pedestrian passage that stays open around the clock.

Visitors particularly enjoy it at the end of the year, when festive decorations add to the atmosphere. It works equally well as a quick architectural stop or a slower stroll between the Grand-Place area and the surrounding streets.
