Reviewers describe the collection as dense and the atmosphere as intimate and personal, closer to a private home than a conventional gallery.

It is small and rarely crowded, a good fit for visitors who like quiet, atmospheric interiors. The building is an important historic site, though one reviewer notes graffiti on the exterior has remained for months.

Reviews

An interesting museum -the collection is dense. On a couple of floors the rooms are fully decorated some bedrooms , others dining rooms and so on. An impressive collection of paintings adorn the walls. Most rooms had a central large Chandler. The windows had their own circular stained glass depictions.
