Full description

The German Spy Museum walks visitors through the history of espionage from ancient ciphers to Cold War Berlin using genuinely interactive exhibits, including a laser-maze challenge that reviewers consistently flag as a highlight, especially for kids. A 4.3-star rating and strong must-see score reflect a museum that succeeds at being both educational and fun, with ticket prices varying by time of day, so booking online in advance is worth doing for both convenience and cost.

Its lower hidden-gem score confirms it's a well-known, popular stop rather than an under-the-radar find, and queues for the most popular interactive stations can build up. At 90 minutes, it suits families and casual visitors more than those seeking a purely academic history museum.

Reviews

Ticket prices depend on the time if the day you visit. Book online it is easy to enter at your time slot. A very cool experience for kids. Queues for cool activities were quite long on the Sunday we visited thus had to miss them all. Their gift shop has a lot of cool gifts.
