Food
1990 Vegan Living turns out Asian-inflected small plates — red curry, satay, dragon rolls — designed for sharing, and its high trendy and must-see scores reflect a spot that's become a genuine local hotspot, especially for outdoor tables. Nearly 5,800 reviews at 4.5 stars point to strong, sustained popularity rather than a passing moment, and the queue reviewers mention confirms demand regularly outstrips seating. The pace is quick — reviewers note fast turnaround — making it well suited to a casual lunch or early dinner rather than a leisurely one. It's a solid pick for vegan and omnivore diners exploring Boxhagener Platz's dining scene.

What people say
"Really good vegetarian Asian food in the Boxhagener Platz area. This place gets busy fast and there’s often a queue, especially for the outdoor tables, but it’s definitely worth the wait. We tried the soup and curry this time and both were super tasty. Everything felt fresh, well made, and full of flavour. Honestly one of the nicest meals I’ve had in a while. The service was also great, fast, friendly, and welcoming. Nice spot to sit outside too and watch people passing by. Would happily come back."
