The Alchemix

4.8 (1,907)$$ · Mid-range

The Alchemix pairs a dinner menu with a cocktail program designed to feel cohesive from start to finish, aiming for an experience visitors describe as memorable rather than merely a good drink. The host and staff get particular praise for making guests feel looked after, even accommodating late walk-ins when possible. It sits toward the pricier, more polished end of Eixample's bar scene, suited to an evening set aside for the occasion. Booking is required, reflecting both its popularity and its focus on a full sit-down experience.

What people say

"One of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had. After the visit, we all felt that everything was exactly as it should be, nothing felt out of place. If you go for the full experience, they offer a small cocktail pairing alongside the tasting menu, which adds something extra and works surprisingly well with the dishes. A special mention to the bartender from Germany and to Nacho, who made us feel very welcome and took great care throughout the evening. The service was attentive without being over the top, and at times it almost felt like a private dinner. The interior is also quite interesting, but it’s something you have to discover for yourself. You can also just sit at the bar and enjoy their cocktails, which are a highlight on their own and part of what they’ve been recognized for."
