LADY BABKA

4.4 (1,585)$ · Budget-friendly

LADY BABKA, on Carrer d'Enric Granados in Eixample, has a 4.4 rating from over 1,500 reviews and stands out to visitors partly because good specialty coffee cafés can be harder to find in Barcelona than expected. The signature item is babka, and reviewers who tried both the pistachio and Nutella versions leaned toward the Nutella as the more memorable of the two. It's a good stop for travelers with a sweet tooth looking for something more distinctive than a standard pastry alongside their coffee.

✨ Reasons to go

  • 1Known for its babka, with the Nutella version favored by reviewers over the pistachio
  • 2A specialty coffee spot in a city where quality coffee shops are less common than expected
  • 3Offers a New Yorker cheesecake alongside its signature babka

💡 Good to know

  • 1Try the Nutella babka, the version reviewers preferred over the pistachio
  • 2a good option if you've struggled to find quality coffee elsewhere in the city
  • 3located in Eixample, easy to combine with other stops in the district.

What people say

"☕️🍰❤️ I didn’t find many great cafe shops that serve tasty coffee in Barcelona during my stay, but I was so happy to find out this place which was few mins walking from my hotel. Fantastic coffee, many options for bakery, and you should try their san sebastian cake, seriously it’s very good! However, the babka was okay. And two plus for this place: it smells amazing, the staff are friendly and they will welcome you with a smile and a small talk. I’ve been four times in here, and I would absolutely visit it again whenever I come to Barcelona again!"
