Food
Bodega Biarritz has run since the late 19th century, and its distinctive concept β selecting a price tier for a set number of dishes and drinks before you even sit down β sets it apart from typical tapas bars nearby. At 4.7 stars from over 9,200 reviews, it's earned a devoted following for its cosy, easy-to-miss setting, often discovered after a walking tour or boat trip through the old city. Its solid culture score reflects genuine historic roots rather than a novelty gimmick. It suits travellers looking for a small, characterful tapas stop with a bit of built-in surprise in what arrives.

What people say
"A small (easy to miss) restaurant with an interesting concept. Before you enter, you first select the price tier, which differs by # of dishes, drinks and other options. They then present your tapas as a mystery box. While some may see this as a risk, we did see this as quite cool of concept. You REALLY have to believe in your tapas to be able to do this. So without any disappointment, our food came and it was delicious all around. Everything is cooked perfectly and flavorful. Not overwhelmingly salty unlike some of the other places we been and they truly delivered the value they promised at the door. Overall we had a quite enjoyable night and left the restaurant quite pleased! One thing to note, the restaurant is def crowded. The space is very small and they crammed as much table as they can in there. If that puts you off, please reconsider."
