Hoi Tin

4.3 ·

Pull up a seat at Hoi Tin, a central Amsterdam Chinese restaurant built around freshly steamed dim sum. Order a round of dumplings and pick up pastries from the bakery counter before you leave.

📖

Full description

Hoi Tin serves traditional Chinese dishes in a plain, modern dining room in Amsterdam-Centrum, close to the Red Light District. Dim sum is what reviewers focus on: pork siumai, xiao long bao and shrimp dumplings come up as the standouts, with steamed dishes often tasting better than fried ones.

Dumplings can take a while to arrive, and some visitors find prices high for the portion sizes. It also runs a bakery for Asian pastries.

Open from midday through the evening, it works for a relaxed group lunch or early dinner with family or friends.
