It is closed on Mondays and open from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM on Saturdays. A visit takes about two and a half hours and suits families.

Urban Hike – Kahlenbergerdorf to Kahlenberg Midpoint of the ridge walk between the Leopoldsberg and the Kahlenberg, the path levels out and passes the large Waldseilpark (Forest Rope Park) — an extensive forest rope course set among the trees. The Josefinenhütte offers a welcome pause before the final walking segment.
