📖

Full description

Türkenschanzpark is a large public park in Währing that combines landscaped paths with ponds, monuments, play areas for children, and an observation tower. Its name and some of its features connect to the sieges Vienna endured over the centuries, which reviewers highlight as a point of interest.

Sports courts, a water fountain, and table tennis areas add everyday use alongside quieter benches and lawns under mature trees. Reviewers describe it as spacious enough to avoid feeling crowded, making it a good forty-five-minute stop for families and locals alike.

Reviews

Beautiful hidden gem in the North of Vienna. 10/10, beautiful park, well kept. Playground was tidy and fun, football and volleyball court in pristine condition. Water fountain just by the courts. Huge fountain around beautiful lake with plenty of places to sit down. Would recommend!
