Climb to Jubiläumswarte for a 360-degree look at Vienna from the green hills of Ottakring. Walk up through the quiet surroundings, then scan the skyline from the top of the tower.
Full description
Jubiläumswarte is a lookout tower on a hill in the Ottakring district, set among woodland and quiet green surroundings. Reviewers say the effort of getting there is repaid by a wide view over the whole city, though it can be windy at the top even when the ground feels calm.
Binoculars are available at the top for a small fee, but bringing your own saves coins. Access is not permitted in winter, and wet weather can make the steps slippery.
Plan on roughly 45 minutes including the approach.

Excellent view over the whole city. Access in winter is not permitted. You should bring binoculars, if you don't want to pay for those that are already at the top level (0,5€ or 1€ or 2€ - depending on how much you want to look over the city. 50 cents should be enough, in my opinion).
