📖

Full description

Café Sacher is the best-known place in Vienna to taste the Sacher-Torte, served in an elegant interior with a ground-floor room and a more formal first floor. Visitors also order warm apple strudel with vanilla sauce and note the amiable service and beautiful surroundings.

Prices sit at the expensive end, and reviewers mention queues and crowds at busy times. Rated 3.9 over more than 20,000 reviews, it is chosen for the iconic cake and ambience rather than for value.

Reviews

Tradition Sacher Torte was delicious as expected. We enjoyed also the warm apple strudel w/vanilla sauce. Services were amiable, the cafe itself was real beautiful. We had wonderful coffee time here (worth visit, yum!!)
