Hire a boat for your own group on the Private Gondola Cruise from San Marco Giardinetti. Ride along part of the Grand Canal and into quieter side canals, with the gondola to yourselves.

📖

Full description

This private gondola outing seats a group of up to five without sharing the boat with another party. The roughly 30-minute route departs from San Marco Giardinetti, follows part of the Grand Canal and continues through smaller waterways past historic buildings, then returns to the starting area.

Daytime and evening departures give different views, with illuminated façades visible after dark. The package covers the ride only: a guide, spoken commentary and a serenade are not included, and the price is for the whole private group.

Some reviewers found the ride short and the voucher exchange fiddly, while others enjoyed the canal views.

Reviews

Andrijana – North Macedonia | August 11, 2026 The gondolier was polite and helpful with photographs, but the ride seemed shorter than advertised and the reviewer thought booking locally could have cost less.
