Real Parroquia de Señora Santa Ana

4.6 ·

Cross into Triana to discover Santa Ana, a 13th-century church far from the busiest tourist trails. Admire its Gothic-Mudéjar architecture and explore the crypt and museum inside.

📖

Full description

Santa Ana is a historic Catholic church in the Triana district, built in the 13th century and combining Gothic and Mudéjar architecture. Besides the main nave it has a crypt and a small museum, which add context for visitors who go beyond a quick look inside.

Reviewers call it one of the most beautiful churches in Seville and a pleasant surprise away from the tourist crowds; one visitor was offered an impromptu tour by a local. A small entrance fee has been reported, and some restoration work has affected parts of the interior.

A visit takes about 15 minutes.

Reviews

Unfortunately our visit was spoilt due to the quantity of remedial works to the Giralda and organ.
