Guadalquivir Garden

3.6 ·

Step into the Guadalquivir Garden, a quirky relic of Expo '92 with its pools and maze. Stroll its modern-art landscape, watch for birdlife, and judge for yourself whether its faded charm wins you over.

📖

Full description

Jardín del Guadalquivir was laid out for Expo '92 as a contemporary landscape of pools, themed planting and a maze rather than a classic Andalusian garden. Today it has a worn, faded character: reviewers describe parts as run down or closed, while others enjoy the birdlife, including a kingfisher, and the atmosphere of a once carefully designed space slowly reclaimed by nature.

It is free, open from 10:00 to 22:00, and suits a short 30-minute stroll for visitors curious about Seville's Expo legacy rather than polished gardens.

Reviews

Still maintained, they were clearing the dead leaves and tidying up as we walked through. but it is not well used in March quite, Worth a walk through. Lots of birds, saw a kingfisher, amongst the others.
