Villa Borghese was created in the early 1600s as pleasure grounds for the Borghese family, its landscaped gardens designed to showcase both nature and the family's extraordinary art collection, still housed in the Galleria Borghese at its heart. Great little tourist spot! For €5 (they prefer cash!) you can rent a rowboat and row around the lake for 20 minutes. Wait was not bad at all.
