Head out to the Aircraft Museum Prague-Kbely and wander one of the world's oldest airfields. Walk between hangars and open-air displays of Second World War and Cold War aircraft, all labelled in Czech and English.
Full description
Set on one of the world's oldest military airfields in Prague's Kbely district, this free museum spreads its aircraft across hangars and open-air grounds. The collection leans heavily on Second World War and Cold War machines, including a Czech-built Me 262 and a Soviet MiG-15, and every plane carries Czech and English plaques.
Reviewers are consistently surprised by the organisation and quality for a museum without an entry fee. With a 90-minute typical visit, it suits aviation fans, families and solo travellers willing to travel out of the centre.

Reviews
I wasn't expecting much from a free museum, but the organization, quality, and number of exhibits really surprised me. All of the aircraft have plaques in both Czech and English are are well maintained. Don't let the distance from Prague dissuade you, the visit is well worth the $40 taxi round trip. Make sure you grab…
