📖

Full description

Tokkotai is an expensive, design-led Japanese restaurant in Porto that blends sushi and cross-over cooking with a bar scene. Reviewers mention eel and spicy tuna uramaki, sashimi, oysters and black cod with vegetables, and one diner who chose the chef's menu was warmly looked after by the waiter.

Others highlight the mushrooms and a cheesecake brulee. The atmosphere is rated beautiful and welcoming, and it stays open until midnight on weekdays and 01:00 on Saturdays.

Rated 4.4 across 442 reviews, it suits couples seeking an evening out rather than a quick meal.

Reviews

Tried the Eel Uramaki, Special Ebiten Uramaki, Spicy Tuna Uramaki, Black Cod /w vegetables, Sashimi Tokkotai, and oysters. Not professional japanese chefs, but the cuts were decent, the rolls looked nice but not tightly wrapped. Oysters fresh, Cod cooked nicely.
