Landmark
Billed as the world's largest balloon, this helium-filled captive balloon rises to 150 metres above Parc André Citroën, carrying up to 30 passengers on a roughly ten-minute flight. Besides sightseeing, it doubles as a flying laboratory measuring greenhouse gases and air pollutants with scientific partners. Flights depend on weather conditions and run daily without reservation; tickets are bought on-site.

"Great views of Paris, I have been wanting to go on this balloon every time I am in Paris but the weather is always wrong. The attraction is quite away from the main centre of Paris but only 10mins from Notre Dame by RER B line. It is quite expensive at E20 per person for approximately 10min ride. It is a real shame it isn’t closer to Isle De Cite as the views would then be amazing. Overall good experience if you are in that area but I would go out of your way to visit unless you are a hot air balloon lover."
