Nightlife
Set in a vaulted 5th-arrondissement cellar with a history stretching back to Templar and Freemason gatherings, Caveau de la Huchette has hosted live jazz nightly since 1946. Bands play three sets an evening for a crowd that mixes local regulars with visitors, many dancing swing on the small floor. The club, run by vibraphonist Dany Doriz since 1970, opens daily without reservation and featured in the film La La Land.

"BEST club experience I’ve had! Absolutely amazing club and TOTALLY worth it. The line moved on pretty quick. I think we got in after about 35-40 minutes and it was SO fun!! The jazz band playing was amazing, the drinks were pretty cheap and tasty. The vibe was AMAZING. One tip: get a fan because we were SWEATING down there (tbf it was 35 Celsius that day)"
