Port Lympia

4.7 ·

Stroll around Port Lympia, Nice's colourful harbour lined with pastel facades. Watch fishing boats and yachts bob in the basin, and settle at a quayside spot for a slow look at the waterfront.

📖

Full description

Port Lympia is the main harbour of Nice, created in the mid-18th century from former marshland. Its quayside is framed by colourful, Venetian-style buildings, and the water holds a mix of small traditional fishing boats and private motor yachts, with ferry and small cruise ship docks nearby.

Visitors value it as a calm alternative to the shopping streets, good for an unhurried walk, photos, and lunch with a view. It is open at all hours and particularly pleasant in soft morning or evening light.

An absolute beauty! If you want something that’s not a shopping street, spend some time in this bay, and you will find the true beauty of Nice
