Step into the National Sports Museum in Nice, a modern space devoted to sport from the 16th century to today. Try the giant table football and fitness challenges, then browse the collections of historic sporting memorabilia.
Full description
The National Sports Museum presents the story of sport through a broad collection of items spanning from the 16th century to the present day. Housed in a modern building, it covers a good selection of disciplines and adds hands-on touches such as oversized table football and fitness tests that let visitors measure their own cardio.
Reviewers describe it as small but well put together, and some pair it with a guided tour of the neighbouring football stadium. About 45 minutes is enough, which makes it an easy fit for families with children.

Reviews
Covers a good selection of sports but would have liked to see more modern bits as so many French legends, Thibault Pinot, Luc Alphand, Le Mans 24 Hours, Yannick Noa. Would have been good to have some benches dotted round so you could watch things more comfortably but overall very good
