Umadum is a Ferris wheel located slightly outside Munich's city centre, offering a ride of around half an hour. Visitors enjoy the views over the city, although some feel they are less spectacular than from other lookouts, and a few wish there were more information on board.
Drinks and snacks can be bought at the kiosk and taken into the gondola, but outside food is not allowed. Special evening formats such as a poker night have drawn praise for friendly staff.
The wheel is closed on Mondays and tends to suit couples and anyone after a relaxed late-afternoon or early-evening outing.
