Full description
Built between 1843 and 1853 for King Ludwig I and designed by Leo von Klenze, the Ruhmeshalle is a neoclassical colonnaded hall housing busts of celebrated figures from Bavarian history. In front of it stands the Bavaria statue, a personification of the region reaching more than 18 metres high.
Reviewers praise the clear symmetry of the structure and the detail in the facade and statues. It overlooks the Theresienwiese grounds in Schwanthalerhöhe and works well as a brief stop.

The iconic building done by Leo von Klenze... Just simply beautiful. The clear simetrical structure the beautiful details in the façade and the statues makes it worth the visit. If you want to learn about architecture and history of the city I would recommend it for sure
