Explore the Botanical Garden Munich-Nymphenburg, a vast collection of plants beside the palace grounds. Walk through themed gardens and humid and dry greenhouses, and spot turtles in the ponds.
Full description
The Botanical Garden Munich-Nymphenburg spreads across more than 20 hectares next to Nymphenburg Palace and combines themed outdoor gardens, extensive greenhouses and ponds where turtles live. The humid and dry greenhouse sections get particular praise for their exotic species, and visitors receive a detailed map at the entrance.
A full round takes around two hours at an unhurried pace, though about 75 minutes covers the highlights. Entry is budget-friendly, a cafe and gift shop are on site, and it suits couples and older visitors who enjoy well-maintained, calm surroundings.

Reviews
This is hands-down one of the best botanical museums I have ever been to! I especially fell in love with the wet/humid and dry section, where you can find dozens of exotic and interesting species. It is clear that is well-maintained. We bought tickets earlier but the line is not long if you just show up on a weekday.
