Basilica di Santa Maria delle Grazie

Visit Santa Maria delle Grazie, home to Leonardo's The Last Supper. Explore the Renaissance church and its Gothic interior, then enter the refectory with your timed ticket to see the famous mural.

📖

Full description

Santa Maria delle Grazie is a terracotta-fronted Renaissance church with an ornate Gothic interior, and its adjoining refectory holds Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper. The church itself is free to enter and worth a short visit, but most people come for the painting.

Reviewers stress that access to the mural is tightly controlled: visitors check in at a reception area next to the church with a QR code voucher and enter in small timed groups. Tickets sell out months ahead, so booking early is essential.

The basilica visit takes about 30 minutes, separate from the time slot for the painting.

Reviews

Beautiful Basilica but for the Last Supper, book in advance the tickets. For us, they were booked until december. So you must buy them a few months in advance
