GoBoat London's Paddington branch rents small electric boats, steered by visitors themselves, for a leisurely cruise around the Paddington basin and surrounding canals. Boats are set up picnic-style, and reviewers frequently mention bringing food and drink aboard for a relaxed afternoon on the water, making it a popular choice for families and groups. No boating experience is needed, which broadens its appeal beyond dedicated watersports fans. Its central, easily reached location adds to the convenience for a spontaneous outing.

What people say
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a fantastic way to spend a Sunday afternoon! We hired a GoBoat in Paddington for two families with four children aged 9–12, and it was such a fun experience from start to finish. The boat was easy to drive, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the canals were beautiful. The kids loved taking turns steering while the adults relaxed, chatted and enjoyed the views. It felt like discovering a hidden side of London that we'd never seen before. Such a simple but brilliant family activity—plenty of laughs, great memories, and a lovely way to spend quality time together. Who needs Venice when you've got Paddington? 😉 Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back!"
