Craven Cottage

4.5 (4,796)$$ · Mid-range

Craven Cottage has been Fulham FC's home since 1896, making it one of the oldest football grounds still in regular use in England, with its riverside setting on the Thames giving it an atmosphere unlike most modern stadiums. The ground takes its name from the small pavilion-style cottage that still stands in one corner, a quirk fans and visitors alike point out on tours. Reviewers describe matchday atmosphere as intimate thanks to the compact capacity, and stadium tours cover the history behind the club's long tenure here. It's a pick for those drawn to football heritage as much as the modern game.

What people say

"Craven Cottage is one of my favourite stadiums to watch football. I went for Fulham vs Liverpool and the atmosphere was brilliant. Because the ground is smaller than most Premier League stadiums you feel much closer to the action and every tackle, chance and goal is met with a great reaction from the crowd. The stadium has plenty of character and makes for a fantastic matchday experience. Whether you’re a home fan or visiting supporter it’s definitely a ground every football fan should experience."
