Jardim do Torel is a relaxed hillside garden offering views over the city and water, with old trees, winding paths and a swimming pool with a sandy beach. Reviewers call it very Lisbon in character, and it draws locals and couples, especially around sunset when it stays open until 10 pm.

Free and open from 8 am, it takes about half an hour with low walking effort, though a few visitors report construction machinery blocking views and a number of stairs to climb. Check current conditions before relying on it purely for the panorama.

Probably the best public park in Porto. Stunning views, interesting old trees and pathways. The place is really big, and worth spending a whole afternoon exploring it. I highly recommend visiting.
