Morskie Oko

4.6 ·

Step into Morskie Oko for a proper Polish meal in a rustic brick-and-timber room. Work through traditional soups, sausage and pierogi while staff in folk dress look after you.

📖

Full description

Morskie Oko is a Polish restaurant in the Old Town with an interior of exposed brickwork and chunky wooden furniture, plus concerts by highlands singers. Reviewers describe traditional dishes that taste as good as the setting looks: a standout sausage, a goat cheese starter, dumplings, pierogi and the Polish soup, with a steak also recommended.

Staff dress traditionally and are described as welcoming, even finding a table for a walk-in on a busy night. With mid-range prices, long opening hours until midnight and a huge volume of reviews, it works for a hearty lunch or a late dinner.

Reviews

Amazing food! We sat outside which is great but the inside looks also great. We ate traditional dishes which were extremely tasty. The sausage is one of the best ever! That goat cheese starter, dumplings, salad, soup in bread, pork neck and some other things we ate were delicious! Their Weiss beer is full and tasty…
