Visit the Kościuszko Museum and the mound that rises beside it. Learn about Tadeusz Kościuszko inside, then climb up for a wide view back toward Krakow.
Full description
The Kościuszko Museum sits at Kościuszko Mound, a landmark in the Zwierzyniec district west of the centre. The exhibition covers Tadeusz Kościuszko and the wider history of his era, and visitors who expected only a hilltop view are often surprised by how much there is to see.
Entry to the museum is required to climb the mound, which rewards visitors with a view back over Krakow when the weather is clear. Opinions on the exhibition vary, but history-minded guests find it informative, and the combination of museum and viewpoint fills roughly 45 minutes.

Reviews
You must pay and enter the museum to access the mound. Quite lackluster exhibition in my opinion. The mound and view are worth the visit if the weather is nice enough. Accessibility when entering and exiting the premises is extremely poorly laid be and labeled.
