Step into Yıldız Park, a leafy hillside retreat above the Bosphorus. Wander past ponds and flower beds, pause at a park cafe, and look up to the Ottoman palace museum on the hill.
Full description
Yıldız Park is one of Istanbul's most loved green spaces, a hillside park of tall trees, flower beds, walking paths and a small pond, set apart from the noise of the city. A museum in an Ottoman palace dating from the 1880s crowns the hilltop, and cafes dot the grounds.
Visitors often spend half a day here, though about 90 minutes covers the main paths. The terrain involves real walking, and the views toward the Bosphorus reward the climb.
It is open into the evening, so late-afternoon visits work well too.

Reviews

It is very peaceful there and far from the city noises and there is a small pond in the middle where you can see ducks and geese having a nice chill time. There is also a playground and there are so many places to…
