Yeni Mosque stands in Eminönü right across the Galata Bridge, which makes it one of the easiest major mosques to reach on foot from the Karaköy side. Dating from the 17th century, it is known for its cascade of domes and a dramatic interior that reviewers describe as peaceful and beautiful.

Entry is free, though women should cover their heads, and scarves are lent at the door. It is often visited together with the nearby Spice Bazaar and waterfront, and a stop takes around twenty minutes.
