Explore Legends of Istanbul, a compact storytelling venue where the city's myths come to life on screen. Sit through a 45-minute musical retelling from Medusa to Constantinople's fall, or try the creative workshop.

📖

Full description

Legends of Istanbul presents a short musical storytelling show tracing myths and moments from the city's past, including Medusa and the fall of Constantinople, in a performance of around 45 minutes. The venue also runs a hands-on creative workshop that some visitors rank as a highlight of their trip and a cool refuge in hot weather.

Opinion on the show itself is split: some find it a good introduction for first-time visitors, while others criticise its heavy reliance on AI-generated visuals and music. It suits those after a light, atmospheric primer rather than a live-theatre experience.

Reviews

It is a great show if you have come to the Istanbul city for the first time. Its a musical story telling about Medusa to fall of Constantinople. I would suggest to get informed about Medusa, Sultan Suleiman and fall of Constantinople before the show to enjoy it to the fullest. Must recommended.
