Full description

Gezi Parkı is one of the few green spaces in the Taksim area, a tree-filled park with plenty of benches in sun and shade, and it became internationally known as the site of the large protests of 2013. Visitors describe it as calmer than the always busy square next to it, pleasant in the morning or evening, with tea available at a spot near the police station.

It is open around the clock, and 30 minutes is enough for a short walk and a rest between sights.
