Rise above the city at Çamlıca Tower. Ride up to the observation deck for panoramic views over Istanbul's European and Asian shores, ideally timed for the sunset glow.
Full description
Çamlıca Tower was built to consolidate dozens of old television and radio antennas on Çamlıca Hill into a single structure. Today it doubles as a viewing point, with an observation deck that reviewers say shows both the European and Asian sides of the city along the Bosphorus.
There is also a cafe-restaurant, which one visitor enjoyed before going up to the panorama level. It is open into the evening, closed on Mondays, and works especially well around sunset.
Families and couples make up much of its audience.

Çamlıca Tower is a beautiful modern tower. The staff were great and welcoming. I enjoyed the view while having coffee at the cafe_resturany, then went up to the panorama view which was stunning. Definitely recommend visiting.
