📖

Full description

The Guildford Arms is a historic Victorian pub in central Edinburgh, known for its etched glass, decorative cornicing and lively bar downstairs. Real ale is a draw, and staff are described as happy to suggest beers to taste.

Upstairs, a smaller gallery restaurant serves Scottish pub food, with cullen skink singled out by reviewers. The mix of ornate interior and relaxed service suits both a quick pint and a longer meal, and it is open from late morning through to late evening.
