Discover Moss, a small Edinburgh dining room with a tasteful interior and a Scottish tasting menu. Work through seasonal courses, from fish to fermented rhubarb ice cream, with Spanish wines alongside.

📖

Full description

Moss is a compact British restaurant whose reviewers single out the tasteful interior and the care of the team, including the owner. The Tour of Scotland tasting menu is the centrepiece, with the fish dish, a mushroom course and ice cream with fermented rhubarb mentioned specifically.

Ingredients are described as largely seasonal, and the wine list leans Spanish, an unusual pairing that guests found well chosen. With expensive pricing, a booking requirement and a typical visit of around 75 minutes, it suits couples marking an occasion.

Opening is split between lunch and dinner service, and Mondays are closed.

Reviews

Thank you very much to the owner, Henry, and the team for a wonderful dinner! Lovely, cozy, well-run place, nice selection of Spanish wines. Tasty food, with most of the ingredients being seasonal and supplied from their own farm. Desert courses were fun with no sugar used. Wishing you guys all the best!!! 😃
