Wander onto Leith Links, the broad green heart of Leith and a former golf course. Stroll the open lawns, watch locals play football or tennis, and let the kids loose on the new playgrounds.
Full description
Leith Links is a large, flat expanse of grass in the heart of Leith that was historically a golf course and still feels defiantly open and unfussy. Visitors describe a lively but peaceful mood, with tennis courts, newly built playgrounds, planted garden areas, benches and a community cafe all within one site.
Football and cricket are regular sights on the grass, and reviewers mention it as a good spot for summer barbecues and family afternoons. Restroom facilities are noted, which makes it an easy, practical stop of about 45 minutes or more.

Great place for recreation! Green open space with tennis court and a couple of newly built playgrounds for children and also gardening sectors. Very alive and yet peaceful atmosphere here. Such a lovely park! Very popular indeed.
