📖

Full description

Kafeneion to Steki is a small Greek restaurant in Leith where the host and waitress are themselves Greek, a detail reviewers cite as proof of an authentic table. The menu is built for sharing, with guests ordering several dishes each: grilled octopus and fries, Greek salad and fried phyllo pastry stuffed with feta come up repeatedly.

With a 4.9 rating and mid-range pricing, it suits couples and small groups who want a long, unhurried meal, and it also works for a solo diner at lunch or dinner. Expect a warm, neighbourhood feel rather than a formal dining room.

Reviews

Amazing food a must try in Leith. Highly recommend the Octopus and fries as part of a sharing selection. There so much to choose from and everything was top quality. 3 dishes per person was very filling for two of us. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
