Fruitmarket

4.5 ·

Walk into Fruitmarket for contemporary art without an entry fee. See the current exhibition in its bright galleries, then browse the bookshop and linger in the cafe.

📖

Full description

Fruitmarket is a light-filled contemporary art space presenting solo and group exhibitions by Scottish and international artists. Admission is free, and the gallery is paired with a cafe and a small bookshop that reviewers single out as a pleasant extra.

Because it sits directly across the road from the City Art Centre, visitors often see both in one outing, as one reviewer did with a Martin Boyce show. Exhibitions change regularly, so a visit of about 45 minutes depends on the current programme.
